>Rebuttal of the Day: At a taping of her show set to air tomorrow, Ellen DeGeneres called out conservative group One Million Moms (actual membership: 40,000) for calling on JCPenney to dump her as their spokesperson or risk losing customers “with traditional values.”

“I usually don’t talk about stuff like this on my show, but I really want to thank everyone who is supporting me,” Ellen told her audience. “Here are the values I stand for. I stand for honesty, equality, kindness, compassion, treating people the way you’d want to be treated and helping those in need. To me, those are traditional values. That’s what I stand for.”

She then concluded, in signature Ellen fashion: “I also believe in dance.”

Just checked One Million Moms’ website and…

Funny that JC Penney thinks hiring an open homosexual spokesperson will help their business when most of their customers are traditional families. More sales will be lost than gained unless they replace their spokesperson quickly.

Wait. What? Oh. So now you guys, the “moms”, are JC Penney’s strategic consultants?

JC Penney has made a poor decision and must correct their mistake fast to retain loyal customers and not turn away potential new, conservative shoppers with the company’s new vision.

From all obnoxious people that think they know how business should work, this is the best-case example of the worst, methink.

Currently I’m a mom-to-be, and I hope, I really really hope, by the love of God, I could restrain myself from being obnoxious and narrow-minded just because I’m a “mom”.

Seriously, guys. And this is the most polite rant by me ever.
